Is this QR code generator really free?
Yes. Creating and downloading a QR code costs nothing. There is no account, email sign-up, subscription or payment step, and no trial that turns into a bill.
Will my QR code expire?
The static QR code has no expiry date set by JustMakeQR and no subscription to keep active. A code that links to a website or file still depends on that destination remaining available. A deleted file or expired destination link will stop working.
Do you collect my email or QR code content?
We don’t ask for your email to use the tool. The contents you enter and any logo you choose are processed in your browser, without being uploaded to us. Even when you create an email or contact QR code, that address is encoded locally.
Can I change a QR code after downloading it?
A static QR code cannot be edited after it has been downloaded or printed. To change its encoded content, make a new code. If it points to a URL you control, you can change the content at that same URL without changing the QR image.
How do I make a QR code with a logo?
Enter your content, choose a PNG, JPEG or WebP logo under 2 MB, and download the result. Logos are processed locally and sit on a white backing. Keep strong contrast and scan-test the finished code before sharing or printing.
Can I download a QR code as PNG or PDF?
Download PNG saves the QR artwork as an image. Print / Save PDF opens your browser’s print dialog; choose Save as PDF there. Adding a frame can make the PNG taller than it is wide.
Can I create a QR code for a PDF, image or video?
Yes, if you already have a public URL for the file. Choose the matching content type and paste that URL. JustMakeQR does not host or upload files; the link must stay accessible to the people scanning it.
Can I see how many people scan my code?
JustMakeQR does not track scans or provide an analytics dashboard. The QR code contains your content or a direct destination, without a JustMakeQR tracking redirect. A linked destination may have its own analytics.
Can I use these QR codes for business or print?
Yes. Use them on menus, cards, signs or packaging without a JustMakeQR subscription. Keep a clear white margin, use dark codes on a light background, and test at the actual printed size. You remain responsible for the content and destination.
What stays private
Your QR content is not our data. We don’t upload or store the text, URLs, contact details, Wi-Fi passwords or logos you enter. The generator runs in your browser, with temporary working state in this tab. There is no account database or saved-code dashboard.
Basic visit statistics. UnjamKit uses Google Analytics to understand page visits, traffic sources and device/browser types. Google Analytics uses first-party cookies, configured here to expire after 90 days. Enhanced measurement and advertising personalization are disabled. We do not send your files, filenames, pasted text, lists, QR content or Wi-Fi passwords. Page URLs sent by our tag exclude query strings and fragments; referrers are reduced to their origin. See Google’s privacy policy.
The hosting boundary. The hosting provider serves this website and may retain standard request logs, including IP addresses, as part of operating the service. That is separate from your QR content, which the tool does not transmit. Your browser may also retain history, downloads or form state according to its own settings.
The code is meant to be read. Anyone who can scan your QR code can read what is encoded in it. A linked website or service has its own privacy practices. Don’t put secrets in a QR code you plan to share publicly.
